    WHAT ARE IV DRIPS?

    The Intravita intravenous infusions are a selection of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and nutrients which are incorporated within a saline drip and administered directly into the blood stream through a cannula at the arm. The use of IV drips or vitamin therapy is clinically proven to be the fastest way to deliver these nutrients as it is entered directly into the bloodstream and absorb to where needed most.

    Are IV drips safe?

    At The Medispa our primary concern is always the health and safety of our patients. Every IV and IM therapy treatment is formulated only from the finest of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and nutrients. All of which are found in the body naturally and are essential to human daily function. They are completely safe and only administered by a member of our medical team.

    Does it hurt?

    There is generally no pain whatsoever. A topical anaesthetic can be applied prior to the drips insertion if requested.

    Are there any side-effects?

    Rarely, a small bruise may develop at the site of insertion. This is superficial bruising and dissipates within a few days.
