Are IV drips safe?
At The Medispa our primary concern is always the health and safety of our patients. Every IV and IM therapy treatment is formulated only from the finest of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and nutrients. All of which are found in the body naturally and are essential to human daily function. They are completely safe and only administered by a member of our medical team.
Does it hurt?
There is generally no pain whatsoever. A topical anaesthetic can be applied prior to the drips insertion if requested.
Are there any side-effects?
Rarely, a small bruise may develop at the site of insertion. This is superficial bruising and dissipates within a few days.
